CM 8 Manual Core Cutter

Claimed to be the best all-around manual cutter on the market today. Versatile, surface drive, bench model core cutter comes fabricated on a 1-3/4" rock maple bench and is designed to be inexpensive, durable, functional and practical. Core ID sizes change in less than 5 minutes. The CM-8 features is powered by a 3/4 HP motor(120 VAC/1ph/60hz). 

The CM-8 offers clean, square, burr-free cuts at a tolerance of +/-.010". The
CM-8 offers virtually maintenance free operation with decades of dependability built in.

Operation
The operator slides a full length tube completely onto the mandrel. To remove the tube end the operator presses the start button and brings down the knife handle. There is a knife handle “stop” which determines how far to bring down the knife handle. The operator advances the tube against the end stop, presses the start button then brings down the knife handle to complete the cut. The cut core drops off, the operator advances the tube again, presses the start button, brings down the knife handle and so on....

CM 9 Heavy Duty Manual Core Cutter (with Surface Drive).

The CM-9 is a versatile, heavy duty manual core cutter. Capable of handling ID's from 1" to 12" without modification, the CM-9 is the most functional manual core cutter on the market today. Designed to cut quickly and easily, the CM-9 offers the operator ease of set up and operation. The CM-9 features an optional core advance system which allows the operator to advance the core without leaving the cutting station.

Knife is actuated when trim cut button is depressed (requires 80-100 psi)

Operation

There is a knife handle “stop” which determines how far to bring down the knife handle. Utilizing the bearing mounted pusher or the core advance, he advances the tube against the end stop. The operator then brings the knife handle down to complete the cut. The cut core drops into the core chute, the operator advances the tube again, then brings down the knife handle and so on. .

Note: on the CM 9 the motor does not have to be turned off between each cut.

CM 10 Semi-Automatic Core Cutter

The CM-10 is a heavy duty, high speed, inexpensive, semiautomatic core cutter with a fully automatic cutting cycle. The CM-10 is available with automatic core advance and is adaptable to cut plastic cores. Well known for versatility and high quality work, the CM-10 is simple to set up and easy to operate. With it's high  production rates and repeating cut width tolerances, the CM-10 is unsurpassed by any single knife machine. The CM-10 is available with the  following options: End coder with digital readout for setting cut core lengths, Automatic knife adjustment for optimum knife life, Servo core advance for speed and tighter tolerances, and Core support with loading program.

Operation
With the power on, the operator switches the selector switch to the load position. He then slides a full length tube completely onto the mandrel. To remove the tube end the operator presses the trim button then switches the selector switch to the run position. Utilizing a bearing mounted pusher, the operator advances the tube against the end stop which engages the automatic cutting cycle. The cut core drops into the core chute and the operator advances the tube again and so on...

On the CM 10A the core would advance and cut automatically. Note: Photo above shows automatic core advance.
